The Willis Tower, formerly named the Sears Tower surpassed the World Trade Center at 110 stories at its completion in 1973.  At 1,353 feet above the city, it held the title of the tallest building in the world for nearly 25 years.  The views from the skydeck are phenomenal. It is also a good way to find where you are in Chicago.
